Pet Policy/Hold Harmless Agreement

  1. Pet owners who bring pets to Sheridan Meadows property will sign a Hold Harmless Agreement.
  2. Pets will be on leash at all times, when outside of campers sleeping accommodations.
  3. Animal waste must be cleaned up daily by pet owner/person responsible for pet, bagged, and put in dumpster.
  4. Pet/owner must honor quiet time from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., as well as during meeting times.
  5. No aggressive dogs and/or breeds, *by insurance definition, allowed. No exotic pets i.e. reptiles, primates, insects, etc.

*”By insurance definition” includes: Pit Bull Terriers, Staffordshire Terriers, Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Presa Canarios, Chows, Doberman Pinschers, Akitas, Wolf-hybrids, Mastiffs, Cane Corsos, Great Danes, Alaskan Malamutes, Siberian Huskies.

Required Form for Pet Owners

Pet Agreement
I/we agree that by bringing our pet(s) onto property owned by Sheridan Meadows and Upper Columbia Corporation of Seventh-day Adventists, we release the aforesaid legal owners and any or all salaried or volunteer staff from any and all financial liability of injury to or injury caused by our pet(s). The aforesaid Hold Harmless Agreement includes any legal and all medical issues arising out of primary or secondary issues associated with the aforesaid animal(s) being on the previously described property.

We further agree to assume full and complete liability for any injury to or injury caused by our pet(s) to other guests, to other on-site domesticated animals, their owners or caretakers, and all salaried and volunteer staff of the aforesaid organization. We further agree to repair or replace at current market value any damage done to any physical structures, ornamental plants, vehicles or other objects owned by the aforesaid organization caused by the pet(s) designated in this agreement."
